Additional information

There is one reliable study on bioaccumulation of1,1,1,3,3,3 -hexafluoro-2 -propanol.Bioconcentration of 1,1,1,3,3,3 -hexafluoro-2 -propanol forCyprinus carpioin 6 weeks was tested according to national standard (equivalent to OECD TG 305). Cyprinus carpio were exposed to two concentrations (1 mg/L and 0.1 mg/L) of1,1,1,3,3,3 -hexafluoro-2 -propanol in water under flow-through conditions.

BCFs of1,1,1,3,3,3 -hexafluoro-2 -propanolranged from 1.1 to 1.4 and 1.3 to 2.7 in 1 mg/L and 0.1 mg/L groups, respectiveIy. Therefore 1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoro-2-propanol is not considered bioaccumulative compound.
