First-aid measures

Inhalation: Move to fresh air. Treat symptomatically. Get medical attention if symptoms persist.

Eye Contact: Immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. If easy to do, remove contact lenses. Get medical attention if symptoms occur.

Skin Contact: Wash with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Get medical attention if symptoms occur. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Thoroughly clean contaminated shoes.

Ingestion: Move to fresh air. Treat symptomatically. Get medical attention if symptoms persist.

Notes to Physician: Treat symptomatically.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing Media: Water, carbon dioxide, dry chemical, foam or alcohol-resistant foam.

Unsuitable Extinguishing Media: None known.

Special Fire Fighting Procedures: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing.

Unusual Fire & Explosion Hazards: A solid stream of water or liquid directed into burning liquid can cause frothing.

Hazardous Combustion Products: Carbon oxides, aldehydes, toxic fumes

Accidental release measures

Personal Precautions: Wear appropriate personal protective equipment.

Spill Cleanup Methods: Absorb spill with vermiculite or other inert material and place in a container for waste. For large spills: Flush area with water spray. Prevent runoff from entering drains, sewers, or streams. Dike for later disposal.

Environmental precautions: Prevent ground water contamination. This product will biodegrade in the environment

Handling and storage

Handling: It is good industrial hygiene practice to minimize eye and skin contact. Avoid breathing mist or vapor. Wash thoroughly after handling. Use only with adequate ventilation.

Prevention of Fire and Explosion: Avoid temperatures > 150° C (302°F).

Storage: Keep container closed. Protect from contamination. Store in a cool place. Keep temperatures below 50°C (122°F).
