Cargill BP-A is non mutagenic in bacteria. Based on the results of the structural related ESBO it can be assumed that Cargill BP-A is also non mutagenic in mammalian cells in vitro and does not cause chromosome aberrations in mammalian cells in vitro.

Further studies on mutagenic properties listed in REACH regulation, Annex IX and/or X are waived according to the criteria of column 2. Rationale for waiving can be found in the testing proposal document in chapter 13.
