Results and discussion

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Propylene oxide has been shown to be a substrate for rat liver glutathione S-transferases to give S-(2 -hydroxypropyl)glutathione. There is also
evidence that propylene oxide is hydrolyzed to 1,2 -propanediol by epoxide hydrolase from rat liver microsomes.
