The acute toxicity of the test substance on fish was investigated in a GLP guideline study according to DIN 38 412 with Leuciscus idus (BASF AG, 1986). At test termination after 96 h a LC50 of 383 mg/L (nominal) was determined. Literature data support these outcomes with an LC50 of 528 mg/L (nominal) after 96 h in a toxicity test according to ASTM E729-80 [Brook, L.T. et al., 1985].
