Additional information

The substance is not readily biodegradable (according to OECD criteria), but biodegradable.

The substance was found to be not readily biodegradable following exposure in a modified OECD Screening Test (OECD 301E; BASF, 1990). The same result was reported for a ready biodegradability study following the MITI(I)-method (OECD 301C; NITE, 2011).

However, in a biodegradation study on inherent biodegradability similar to OECD 302B and performed with industrial sludge, the degree of biodegradation was 97% after 21 days (BASF, 1990).
