The density is relative to the porosity (water absorption). Extrapolated to 0% water absorption , the relative density is 2,86. (See graph in illustration)
Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Conclusions:
- The relative density for fosforus slags is 2,86 at 0% water absorbtion based on measurements over a 5 year period of samples and extrapolation of the values.
- Executive summary:
The relative density for fosforus slags is 2,86 at 0% water absorbtion based on measurements over a 5 year period of samples and extrapolation of the values.
The relative density of fosforus slags was measured 22 times in the period 2005 to 2010 on as many samples of slag according to method EN 1097-6 as part of company quality control regime. Extrapolating the measured values to 0% water absorption results in a relative density 2,86 g/cm3, for fosforus slags. all values and calculations can be found in the attached background material.
