Endpoint:
oxidising solids
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
weight of evidence
Reliability:
3 (not reliable)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
other: Guideline study (UN, GHS).
Justification for type of information:
Substance very similar to Strontium Chromate in terms of CrO3 content similar but lower than Strontium chromate, neutral pH, particule granular size, water solubility (slightly soluble substance closed to Strontium chromate), thermal stability and type of use (anticorrosive pigment for paint ). Furthermore Zinc potassium chromate is dehydrated before decomposition generaly in temperature range of 200 to 260°C ( none loss of water for strontium chromate witch is anhydrous). The loss of water (260°C in 60min) should not exeed 8%.
