Description of key information

The experimental value of the boiling point for 1-(6-methoxy-2-naphthyl)ethan-1-one by the distillation method was found to be 219.4°C at atmospheric pressure of 966 hPa and room temperature of 27°C. This value when converted into 101 325 Pa found to be equivalent to 230.13 °C. Also, the chemical did not decompose at the boiling temperature.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Boiling point at 101 325 Pa:
230.13 °C
