Description of key information
The Pow and log Pow values of the majority of the UV-active components in Corsair Clear #34, i.e. 96.9%, are: >3.2 x 10^6 and >6.5, respectively.
The log Pow of the test substance calculated using the Rekker calculation method was 20.8
KOWWIN v1.67 run on all constituents of the substance estimated logPow values > 16.9
Key value for chemical safety assessment
Additional information
The logPow of the substance with the HPLC-UV method was determined to be > 6.5. The log Pow of the test substance calculated using the Rekker calculation method was 20.8. In order to have additional information on the height of the logPow, it was decided to run KOWWIN v.1.67 on all components of the substance. The estimated logPow of all components were above 16.9.
Although it is recognized that the very high values of logPow for both the Rekker calculation and the KOWWIN estimation are not realistic, they give an indication that the logPow values can be deemed to be higher than 10.
