Description of key information

Chronic toxic to aquatic organisms

Additional information

Chronic toxicity tests on both algae (OECD 201) and fish (AFSS) showed no adverse effects on the test organisms up to the solubility under test conditions (BASF SE 2010, 2018).

However, results from a chronic daphnia toxicity test according to OECD 211, revealed a NOEC of 2.66 µg/L (BASF SE 2018). Based on this result, the substance is considered as very toxic to aquatic organisms with long lasting effects.
