Description of key information

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Skin sensitisation

Endpoint conclusion
Endpoint conclusion:
no adverse effect observed (not sensitising)
Additional information:

The skin sensitisation properties of Reaction mass of DIPE and 2-methylpent-2-ene were tested with the Mouse local lymphnode assay (LLNA) method. This study was conducted following the OECD 429 and EU B.42 methods under GLPconditions.

No sensitisation effect were observed. Consequently, the test item is not classified as skin sensitising.

Migrated from Short description of key information:
The skin sensitisation properties of Reaction mass of DIPE and 2-methylpent-2-ene were tested with the LLNA method. No sensitisation effects were observed. Consequently, the test item is not skin sensitising.

Respiratory sensitisation

Endpoint conclusion
Additional information:

The respiratory sensitisation of Reaction mass of DIPE and 2-methylpent-2-ene was not tested.

Migrated from Short description of key information:
The respiratory sensitisation of Reaction mass of DIPE and 2-methylpent-2-ene was not tested.

Justification for classification or non-classification

The criteria for the classification of Reaction mass of DIPE and 2-methylpent-2-ene were not met.

The respiratory sensitisation of the test item was

not tested.
