Directorate I - Information Systems

Unit I1 - Productivity and Support Systems

The Productivity and Support Systems Unit designs and delivers finance, human resources, content management, access management, and other information management systems. The unit provides IT workplace, information security and IT business continuity services, and aims to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our staff by delivering the most suitable IT solutions.

Unit I2 - Submissions and Cloud Platforms

The Submissions and Cloud Platforms Unit is responsible for the regulatory and scientific software applications required to meet the Agency's obligations under chemicals legislation: REACH, CLP, PIC, POPs, the Biocidal Products Regulation and the Waste Framework Directive. It also leads the management and evolution of cloud platforms ensuring the underlying infrastructure for the IT Portfolio.

Unit I3 - Integrated Regulatory Systems

The Integrated Regulatory Systems Unit designs and delivers information systems and process management functions that support ECHA in implementing the Agency’s Integrated Regulatory Strategy. The unit ensures that processes are accurately analysed, software is thoroughly selected, and that products and platforms used to build and configure solutions that enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the Agency’s staff, relevant Member State authorities and committee members are proficient.
