- Objective of the call
- In this call for evidence, we are requesting information on PVC and on the substances used in PVC selected for a closer scrutiny. The information we request are the uses, EU volumes per use sector and end-use, end-of-life information per use and, where available, experimental/measured release and exposure information. With this call, we strive to obtain an understanding on the use volumes at the EU level per sector and for as many end-uses as feasible, but company specific information is also welcome. In order to facilitate the data reporting, we have compiled from various sources a list of end-uses and use sectors of PVC into a reporting format. We have also generated a separate reporting format for collecting use and volume information on the subset of substances used in PVC in focus. Information submitted both using the reporting format and in another form is welcome. We note that we don’t seek use and volume information on the industrial life-cycle stages nor exposures in this call.

- Companies, industry associations and other organisations (including Member States) with an interest in PVC and its additives, which are subject to this investigation are invited to provide information.
