Conclusions:
The test item is completely miscible with water.
Executive summary:

An experimental study was conducted according to OECD Test guideline 105 and Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 Method A.6. The water solubility test following the guidelines was technically not feasible because no saturated solution could be prepared due to the very high water solubility of the test item. In conclusion the test item is completely miscible in water.

Description of key information

The test item is completely miscible with water. For risk assessment purposes the upper limit of EUSES = 100000 mg/L will be used.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Water solubility:
100 000 mg/L
at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

An experimental study was conducted according to OECD Test guideline 105 and Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 Method A.6. The water solubility test following the guidelines was technically not feasible because no saturated solution could be prepared due to the very high water solubility of the test item. The test item was mixed with water in the ratios 1:9, 1:1 and 9:1 and the pH was determined. In conclusion the test item is completely miscible in water.
