The calculated water solubility of Oleylamine by EPISuite is 0.034 mg/L. Therefore a preliminary test was not performed.

Due to the fact that the measured concentration decrease from flask 1 to 2 by 46 % and afterwards increase from flask 2 to 3 above the concentration level of flask 1, flask 2 is not considered for further calculations.

Discussion

The water solubility of the test item is 0.6 mg/L at pH 5.0

The criterion of the OECD 105 “If the concentrations measured in at least the two last vessels do not differ by more than 15%, the test is satisfactory.” This criterion cannot be used for this determination. The vessels one and three are used for the calculation. The relative standard deviation is 10.19 % and the difference between vessel 1 and 3 is 18.5 %. Under consideration of the analytical technique, this deviation of the result can be regarded as satisfactory.
