Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
key study
Study period:
2017
Reliability:
2 (reliable with restrictions)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
guideline study without detailed documentation
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
other: Recommendations on the TRANSPORT OF DANGEROUS GOODS, Manual of tests and criteria, Fifth revised edition, ST/SG/AC.10/11/Rev.5, United Nations, New York and Geneva, 2009, Section 33

Specific details on test material used for the study:
STABILITY AND STORAGE CONDITIONS OF TEST MATERIAL
- Storage condition of test material: in an exsiccator at ambient temperature and atmospheric pressure

At contact with the ignition source, a locally limited melting with boiling effects occurred. A short-time, locally limited combustion of the molten mass with blue/yellow flame had been observed.

Sample residue: at the contact spot with the ignition source: dark-brown/black molten mass.

An independent transmission of the reaction in/on the dust layer over a length of 100 mm or 200 mm did not occur.

Total number of the tests with fresh sample in each case: 3

Interpretation of results:
not classified based on GHS criteria
Conclusions:
The test substance is not classified into Division 4.1 "Readily combustible solid" according to the UN classification or into a respective Category according to GHS/CLP-Regulations, EC-Regulation No. 1272/2008.
