Results and discussion

Effect concentrations
Key result
Duration:
48 h
Dose descriptor:
EC50
Effect conc.:
>= 0.5 - <= 50 mg/L
Nominal / measured:
nominal
Conc. based on:
test mat.
Basis for effect:
mortality
Details on results:
Due to the difficult/ unstable nature of the test substance, it was decided to stop after the range finding test. Determined from the range-finding test and based on nominal 3-formyl rifamicina SV concentrations, the EC50 value was estimated to be between 0.5 and 50 mg/L.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Conclusions:
Based on nominal 3-formyl rifamicina SV concentrations, the 48-h NOEC was estimated to be 0.005 mg/L and the EC50 value was estimated to be between 0.5 and 50 mg/L.
