The DTA onset temperature of the decomposition is 160 -170°C (operating temperature 30 -280°C, 3 K/min).
The decomposition starts spontanously in the temperature range from 95 -140°C in an adiabatic test. The AZT24was determined to 93°C. The Self Accelerating Decomposition Temperature (SADT) for a 50 kg package was determined to 85°C.
Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Conclusions:
- The substance is thermally unstable. The AZT24 was determined to 93°C. The SADT for a 50 kg package was determined to 85°C. For safety reasons the substance should be stored at a cool well vented place and it should be protected from direct sunlight.
