Two studies were performed by Andersen FA (1998) in guinea pigs with topical applications of 0.1 mL of 12% Ammonium Lactate lotion, pH 5.0-5.5. The animals were exposed to UVA light 15-20 min after dosing and the animals were examined after 24 h.
