Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove persons to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, get
immediate medical attention.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Immediately flush eyes with large amounts of water for at
least 15 minutes. Get immediate medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Immediately flush skin with large amounts of water for at
least 15 minutes in a chemical safety shower while removing
contaminated shoes and clothing. Get immediate medical
attention. Wash contaminated clothing before re-use.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Get immediate medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Carbon dioxide, dry chemical, dry powder, alcohol-type foam
Product arising from burning: Hydrogen fluoride, chlorine, oxides of carbon, boron &
nitrogen. Hazardous polymerisation will not occur.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Wear full protective clothing, including helmet,
self-contained, positive pressure or pressure demanding
breathing apparatus, bunker coat and pants, bands around
arms, waist and legs, face mask and protective covering for
exposed areas of head.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Evacuate unprotected personnel from hazard area. Collect
spill using a spark-resistant vacuum cleaner with absolute
High Efficiency Particulate Air filter. Clean up residue
with an appropriate organic solvent. Place in an approved
metal container. Seal the container. Incinerate in a
permited hazardous waste incinerator in the presence of a
combustible material.
Handling and storage
Handling: Avoid skin contact. Wear appropriate gloves when handling
this material. Use one or more of the following personal
protection items as necessary to prevent skin contact:
apron. Wash hands after handling and before eating. Do not
ingest. Use with appropriate local exhaust ventilation. No
smoking while handling this material.
Storage: Store in a cool place. Keep container dry. Keep container
closed when not in use.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Double barrel syringe type device (clicker).
