Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

One study investigating the toxicity of Dibutyl sebacate (CAS 109-43-3) to freshwater fish is available (Richterich and Mühlberg, 2006). The semi-static study was conducted according to ISO guideline 7346/1; however, the study was not performed under GLP conditions. The test material was directly added to the test vessels in order to obtain nominal test concentrations of 1000, 3000 and 10,000 mg/L. No mortality of Brachydanio rerio was observed in any treatment during the test period of 96 hours. Hence, the 96 h-LC50 is determined to be > 10,000 mg/L based on the nominal test concentrations.
