DURATION
- Exposure duration: 48 - 72 hours

NUMBER OF REPLICATIONS: 3

Evaluation criteria:
Revertant rate
Statistics:
Significance (in response) considered as:
- number of revertants is 2x (strains TA98, TA100 and WP2uvrA) or 3x (strains TA1535 and TA1537) higher than spontaneous reversion rate of solvent controls
- dose dependent increase in revertant rate over a minimum of 2 increasing concentrations

Additional information on results:
No precipitation was observed. Toxicity was observed beginning at 500, 1500 or 5000 µg/plate with some Salmonella strains. No toxicity was
observed with E.coli .

The test substance did not induce a dose-related or 2-fold or 3-fold increase in the number of revertant colonies in any Salmonella strain or in E.coli WP2 u vrA either in the presence or absence of metabolic activation.
