The flammability of tetrabenzylpyrophosphate has been investigated according to UN N.1 methods in compliance with GLP. The preliminary screening test did not show any propagation of combustion of the test substance along 200 mm length of the pile within 2 minutes. Performance of the definitive burning rate test is not required.
Based on the results obtained, the test substance was not classified as a flammable solid of Division 4.1 and thus was not assigned to any packing group, under the experimental conditions used.
