Details on study design:
The individual P-450 cytochromes were purified from either rabbit nasal microsomes or liver microsomes. Isobutyraldehyde was incubated with the P-450 enzymed for 20 minutes at 37°C. All hydrocarbon products were analyzed by GC by comparison to authentic standards.
