First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse eye with wash fountain or fresh water to cleanse eye.
If irritation persists for more than 30 minutes seek medical
attention.

Product arising from burning: The substance is a flame retardant. It is not flammable,
combustible or explosive.

Accidental release measures
Avoid dust formation. Carefully sweep or shovel the spillage
to suitably labelled waste containers, or use a sealed
industrial vacuum machine.
Dispose of waste material at a landfill facility in
accordance with local regulations.
Avoid contamination of water courses and drains during
clearing up operations. Advise local water authority that
none of the affected water should be used for irrigation or
for the abstraction of potable water until natural dilution
returns the boron value to its normal environmental
background level.
Handling and storage
airborne dust concentration should be kept below the
nuisance level of 10 mg/m3.
Wear protective gloves (standard prEN374), goggles (BS2092
or prEN166), protective clothing (EN368) and a respirator
(EN149 FFP1).
Storage: Store in tightly closed containers in a cool, dry, well
ventilated area. Avoid damp conditions.
