- the study does not need to be conducted because the substance is found to be readily biodegradable and the applied test concentrations are in the range of concentrations that can be expected in the influent of a sewage treatment plant
- Justification for type of information:
- In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex VII, the activated sludge respiration inhibition test (required in section 9.1.4) does not need to be conducted as Cymbopogon winterianus oil is has been determined to be readily biodegradable and the applied test concentrations in the biodegradability tests for the constituents are expected to be far higher than the concentrations which will be encountered in the influent of a sewage treatment plant.
