Description of key information

The substance is acutely harmful to fish.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Since no test data for acute toxicity on fish are available a conclusion by analogy approach to Oeltriamid (CAS 16445-04-5) has been applied.

In an acute fish test according to OECD guideline 203, the LC50 (96h) for Brachydanio rerio was determined to be 22 mg/L [BASF AG, 1993]. Tween 80 was used as solubilizer. Due to missing analytical measurements the assessment of the aquatic toxicity in the range of solubility is not possible. The effect concentrations determined in the tests can be used as a worst case.
