Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

- Endpoint:
- vapour pressure
- Type of information:
- experimental study
- Adequacy of study:
- key study
- Reliability:
- 1 (reliable without restriction)
- Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
- other: GLP guideline study
- Qualifier:

- Key result
- Temp.:
- 25 °C
- Vapour pressure:
- < 0 Pa
- Conclusions:
- The vapour pressure of DCBS determinerd according to OECD Guideline 104 by gas saturation method was < 0.00001 Pa at 25°C (LAUS 2010).
- Executive summary:
The vapour pressure of DCBS determinerd according to OECD Guideline 104 by gas saturation method was < 0.00001 Pa at 25°C (LAUS 2010).
Reference
In any case of several determinations no signal of the test item was obtained (a standard solution gave normal values). Taken into account the detection limit of 0.082 mg/l a vapour pressure of 1.76*10-5 Pa was calculated at 90°C. Therefore, the vapour pressure of N,N-dicyclohexylbenzothiazole-2-sulphenamide is considered to be far below 1*10-5 Pa at 25°C.
It is assumed that the concentration found in the preliminary test was caused by carry-over of fine particles of test item, blown away with the gas stream, into the scrubber flask.
Description of key information
The vapour pressure of DCBS determinerd according to OECD Guideline 104 by gas saturation method was < 0.00001 Pa at 25°C (LAUS 2010).
Key value for chemical safety assessment
- Vapour pressure:
- 0 Pa
- at the temperature of:
- 25 °C
Additional information
should read <0.00001 Pa at 25 °C
