Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Conclusion on classification

Aquatic environment classification

Based on the available data acetyl tributyl citrate is considered to be rapidly biodegradable, both in aquatic media and soil.

The most sensitive short-term endpoint is the 21d-NOEC from a limit test with Daphnia magna of ≥ 1.11 mg test item/l

, representing a conservative estimate of aquatic toxicity.

Due to rapid degradation and considering the insignificant bioaccumulation potential, the substance is not to be classified as dangerous/hazardous for the environment according to Directive 67/548/EEC or according to the Regulation (EC) 1272/2008 on classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures (CLP).
