Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove the casualty into fresh air and keep him calm. Call
in a physician immediately and show him the safety data
sheet.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediately with gently running water for 15 minutes,
maintaining eyelids open. Consult a doctor immediately.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash off immediately with plenty of water. Consult a doctor
immediately.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Call in a physician immediately and show him the safety data
sheet. Do not induce vomiting. Let plenty of water be drunk
in small gulps.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray jet, foam.
Product arising from burning: Carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, hydrogen flouride.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Wear well closed full protective clothing including helmet.
Use self-contained breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Take up spilled substance in a dry state avoiding the
formation of dust with suitable equipment (e.g. using an
industrial vacuum cleaner of approved type) and if necessary
collect in closed and adequately labelled containers.
Dispose of collected material in accordance with the
regulations. Clean contaminated floors and objects
thoroughly, observing environmental regulations. Do not
allow entry to drains, water courses or soil.
While taking up the substance, prevent skin and eye contact
as well as inhalation of it. For this purpose, wear the
personal protective equipment described under "handling".
Handling and storage
Handling: All working methods must always be designed so that skin and
eye contact with the substance are excluded. Inhalation of
the substance must be avoided. Closed equipment should be
used during filling, transfer and metered feeding as well as
during sampling. In the case of handling in open systems,
any dust that can form should be extracted directly at the
point of origin. If technical extraction or ventilation
measures are not possible or are insufficient, respiratory
protection (e.g. full-face mask with A1B2E2K1 filter)
should be worn. Even if skin contact is only possible for
short periods, tested protective gloves(e.g. PVC/nitrile
rubber) and suitable protective clothing (e.g. normal
working clothes) must be worn. Safe eye protection (e.g.
face mask) is absolutely essential. Emergency showers should
be installed in the immediate vicinity of the work area,
adequate washing facilities should be available and eye
douches should be made available and their location
indicated conspicuously.
After skin contact, the affected parts of the skin should be
cleaned thoroughly using (water and washing lotion).
Special skin-protection and skin-care measures are
recommended. A skin-protection plan must be drawn up.
Storage: Keep only in the original and correctly labelled container.
Keep container tightly closed and dry in a cool, well-
ventilated place. Keep container secure by suitable measures
against falling down.
Avoid product residues on the packing drums.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: HDPE bottles, 3 - 10 liter.
