First-aid measures
Eye Contact:
Immediately flush eyes with copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. If irritation persists, seek medical attention.
Skin Contact:
After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of water. Gently and thoroughly wash the contaminated skin with running water and non-abrasive soap. Be particularly careful to clean folds, crevices, creases and groin. Cover the irritated skin with an emollient. If irritation persists, seek medical attention. Wash contaminated clothing before reusing.
Inhalation:
Allow the victim to rest in a well ventilated area. Evacuate the victim to a safe area as soon as possible. Loosen tight clothing such as a collar, tie, belt or waistband. If breathing is difficult, administer oxygen. If the victim is not breathing, perform mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. In severe cases or if symptoms persists, seek medical attention.
Ingestion:
Do not induce vomiting. Loosen tight clothing such as a collar, tie, belt or waistband. If the victim is not breathing, perform mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. Seek immediate medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media
If the substance is involved in a fire, use foam carbon dioxide or inert powder. Do not let effluents go in sewage. Do not use water jet. Water is not effective to extinguish the fires but can be used to cool containers exposed to flames to prevent explosions.
Hazardous combustion products
The substance evolves toxic fumes due to the presence of CO, CO2 and NOx.

Wear self contained breathing apparatus for fire fighting if necessary.

Cool containers with water spray to avoid product decomposition and generation of substances potentially hazardous to health. It can create excessive pressure in containers exposed to fire with risk of explosion. Always wear full fire prevention equipment. Collect contaminated extinguishing water that must not be discharged into drains. Dispose of contaminated water and the residual substances according to current regulation.

Precautions for safe handling
Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. The substance must be treated only by qualified and trained in the use of hazardous substances workers, taking into full account the risks in case of fire or dispersion, and the health impact described in this safety data sheet. Should be handled in the area with local exhaust ventilation and efficient system of personnel must wear personal protective equipment.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Keep the substance in tightly closed containers in a cool dry, well ventilated area away from sources of ignition. Avoid contact with oxidizing substances and the accumulation of electrostatic charges.

Safety glasses with side-shields conforming to EN166 Use equipment for eye protection tested and approved under appropriate government standards such as NIOSH (US) or EN 166(EU).
Skin protection
Handle with gloves. Gloves must be inspected prior to use. Use proper glove removal technique (without touching glove's outer surface) to avoid skin contact with this product. Dispose of contaminated gloves after use in accordance with applicable laws and good laboratory practices. Wash and dry hands. The selected protective gloves have to satisfy the specifications of EU Directive 89/686/EEC and the standard EN 374 derived from it.
Body Protection
The type of protective equipment must be selected according to the concentration and amount of the dangerous substance at the specific workplace.

Respiratory protection
Where risk assessment shows air-purifying respirators are appropriate use a full-face particle respirator type N99 (US) or type P2 (EN 143) with cartridges P1 (inert substances) P2 (harmful substances) P3 (toxic substances). Use respirators and components tested and approved under appropriate government standards such as NIOSH (US) or CEN (EU).
