Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing
Avoid formation of aerosol
Eye contact:
Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. Call a physician immediately.
Skin contact:
Do not delay. Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water while removing all contaminated clothes and shoes. If symptoms persist, call a physician.
Ingestion:
Clean mouth with water and afterwards drink plenty of water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If symptoms persist, call a physician. Do not induce vomiting without medical advice.
Inhalation:
Move to fresh air in case of accidental inhalation of vapours. Oxygen or artificial respiration if needed. If breathing but unconscious, place in the recovery position. Consult a physician.
Protection of First-aiders: Take appropriate steps to avoid fire, explosion and inhalation hazards. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing.
Fire-fighting measures
Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding environment. alcohol-resistant foam.
Contains organic solvents. Water spray. Dry chemical. Carbon dioxide (CO2).
Extinguishing media which shall not be used for safety reasons: None
Specific Hazards Arising from the Chemical:
Hazardous combustion products. Carbon dioxide (CO2), carbon monoxide (CO), oxides of nitrogen (NOx), dense black smoke.
Protective Equipment and Precautions for Firefighters
Standard procedure for chemical fires. Evacuate personnel to safe areas. Evacuate area and fight fire from a safe distance. Wear
self contained breathing apparatus for fire fighting if necessary.
Accidental release measures
Do not breathe vapors or spray mist. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Respirator with filter for organic vapour. Wear personal protective equipment. Safety Glasses, Gloves, Vapor Respirator.
Environmental precautions:
Do not allow material to contaminate ground water system. Prevent product from entering drains. Local authorities should be advised if significant spillages
cannot be contained.
Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up :
Soak up with inert absorbent material (e.g. sand, silica gel, acid binder, universal binder, sawdust). Pick up and transfer to properly labelled containers. Prevent product from entering drains. Local authorities should be advised if significant spillages cannot be
contained.
Environmental Exposure Controls:
Prevent product from entering drains. Do not allow material to contaminate ground water system. Local authorities should be advised if significant spillages
cannot be contained.
Handling and storage
Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment. Remove and
wash contaminated clothing before re-use.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities :
Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. To maintain product quality, do not store in heat or direct sunlight. stainless steel

Complete suit protecting against chemicals.
Hand Protection:
Neoprene gloves. Nitrile rubber.
Respiratory protection:
In case of mist, spray or aerosol exposure wear suitable personal respiratory protection and protective suit.
Protective equipment:
Ensure that eyewash stations and safety showers are close to the workstation location
General Hygiene Considerations:
Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Wash hands before breaks and at the end of workday.

Disposal considerations
Should not be released into the environment
Where possible recycling is preferred to disposal or incineration
Dispose of in accordance with local regulations
Waste from Residues / Unused Products:
Should not be released into the environment
Where possible recycling is preferred to disposal or incineration
Recover or recycle if possible, otherwise: incineration with wet scrubbing facilities
Contaminated packaging:
Empty containers should be taken to an approved waste handling site for recycling or disposal
Other information According to the European Waste Catalogue, Waste Codes are not product specific, but application specific.
