Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information
Additional information
Toxicity to soil macroorganisms:
Acute toxicity of the test item to the earthworm Eisenia fetida was determined in a 14-day test according to OECD guideline 207. The EC50 was estimated to be higher than 1000 mg test item/kg soil dw.
Toxicity to terrestrial plants:
The test item was tested for its influence on the seedling emergence and seedling growth of two monocotyledonous plant species and four dicotyledonous plant species in accordance to OECD guideline 208. A limit test was performed in accordance with the test guideline to demonstrate that the test item has no toxic effect on the test organisms up to and including a nominal concentration of 1000 mg of test item per kg soil (dry weight) after 21 days of exposure. The analytically determined test item concentrations in the application solutions were 97% or 107% of the nominal values, based on the mean test item concentrations.
Toxicity to terrestrial arthropods and soil microorganisms:
In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex IX, toxicity test for terrestrial arthropods and soil microorganisms is required (section 9.4.1). However, as a direct or indirect exposure of the soil compartement is unlikely no study is conducted. In addition, short-term tests with soil macroorganisms and terrestrial plants show no adverse effects. Thus, no further testing is required.
