Description of key information

In an 48 hours OECD 202 study the acute toxicity of the test item to Daphnia magna was determined under static conditions. Stock solutions of water accommodated fractions were prepared and five test concentrations (0.625, 1.25, 2.5, 5 and 10 mg/L) were achieved by dilution of the water accommodated fraction. The 48-h EC50 was 4.66 mg/L with confidence intervals between 4.53 and 4.81 mg/L. The NOEC was determined to be 2.5 mg/L and the LOEC was determined to be 5 mg/L. The substance is acutely toxic for invertebrates.
