If breathing has stopped, give artificial respiration. Call
a physician.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Immediately flush eyes with plenty of flowing water for at
least 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses if easily possible.
Consult a physician.
Emergency measure - Skin: The compound is not likely to be hazardous, but it is
advisable to clean the skin after use.
If skin contact with hot material occurs, do not attempt to
remove the polymer. Immediately cool with penty of cold
water. Have burn treated by a physician.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Wash out mouth with water. Consult a physician.
Fire-fighting measures
chemical are suitable extinguishing agents.
Product arising from burning: The substance has a low fire hazard. However, it is
combustible and will burn if involved in a fire, evolving
noxious fumes and hazardous decomposition products including
carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, hydrogen fluoride and
toxic gases or particules. However, there is no experimental
evidence to support the anticipated combustion products.
These products may cause severe eye, nose, throat and lung
irritation or toxic effects.

Protective equipment: Keep personnel away from and upwind of fire.
Wear self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) and full
protective equipment.
Fight the fire from a safe distance or protected location.
Accidental release measures
Ensure suitable operator protection with gloves, goggles and
dust mask. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment
conforming to the relevant national or international
standards.
Shovel or sweep up spillages, avoiding dust formation.
Carefully transfer the spillage to waste containers, or use
a sealed industrial vacuum machine. Containers filled with
waste material must be labelled in the same way as the
original substance containers.
Dispose of waste material in accordance with local
regulations.
Handling and storage
conditions of good industrial hygiene and in conformity with
any local regulations in order to avoid exposure by workers
and researchers.
The product containing the substance should be used in well
ventilated areas, avoiding contact with eyes and skin and
brething of vapours or mist.
Wash hands throughly after handling and clothing after use.
Do not store or consume food, drink or tobacco in areas
where they may become contaminated with this material.
When exposure cannot be prevented or adequately controlled,
appropriate personal protective equipment should be worn.
Such protective equipment should conform to the appropriate
international or national standards as follows;
- Chemical protective gloves to Standard EN374: wear
appropriate gloves for the protection of hands to prevent
thermal burns.
- Chemical protective clothing to Standard EN368: wear
protective clothing and boots as required.
- Eye protection to Standard EN166: wear safety glasses with
side shields.
- If thermal decomposition occurs, mask for acidic gases
must be used to avoid inhalation of the product.
Furthermore, respiratory protective and breathing protective
equipment must be used in case of insufficient ventilation.
This equipment must be capable of adequately controlling
exposure, be suitable for the purpose, and conform to the
appropriate international or national standards, such as a
dust mask conforming to EN149 FFP1.
These measures should be regarded as a minimum.
Storage: Store in a dry and well ventilated area, protecting the
preparation from direct heat or sunlight.
Keep containers tightly closed when not in use.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: The product containing the substance will be imported into
cartons. Each carton contains 2 rolls (ca. 250 mm x 250 mm
x 800 mm).

Recovery from minor spillages or accidental discharge is not
economically or technically feasible, and such waste
material will be disposed of by incineration.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: The material may be incinerated above 800 °C using
scrubber to remove hydrogen fluoride and other acidic
products.
No hazards have been envisaged if the material is
incinerated in the appropriate manner.
