First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove to fresh air.  If signs of toxicity occur, seek

medical attention.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Irrigate affected eye(s) with copious amounts of water, for

at least 15 minutes.  Seek medical attention.

Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothing.  Wash affected area with

copious amounts of water, for at least 15 minutes.  If

irritation persists seek medical attention.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Give plenty of cold water, or milk to drink, or give

casualty ice to suck.  Seek immediate medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Use appropriate medium for the underlying cause of fire

(e.g. water, dry chemical, foam or carbon dioxide).

Product arising from burning: Oxides of carbon and sulphur, water

Protective equipment: Fire-fighters should wear full protective clothing including

self contained breathing apparatus.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Protective clothing should be worn including, gloves, safety

glasses or goggles and a dust mask.  Vacuum up spill, using

an approved industrial vacuum cleaner, to minimise dust

production.  Transfer solid waste to a suitable container

for disposal.  Spill area should be washed with water.

Handling and storage

Handling: Protective gloves should be worn along with safety glasses

or goggles.  Respiratory protection is also be recommended,

(full face or half mask respirator).  Local exhaust

ventilation may be desirable.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place in sealed unbreakable containers.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: FPC-160 in powder form, will be packaged in paper bags

holding 25 kg for import into the EU.

The prepared solution will be packaged into 2 litre capacity

bottles.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Incineration is receommended provided that a closed cycle

incinerator with scrubbers is used.  National laws must be

observed.
