Description of key information

The  lowest reliable microorganisms study for freshwater zooplankton which are reported by Olaveson, M.M., and C. Nalewajko 2000 after a 5-days exposure to aluminium sulphate was 3010 mg/l (EC50) NOEC-602 mg/l.
This information will be take into account for birds toxicity for the derivation of PNEC.

EC10 or NOEC for microorganisms:
602 mg/L

Additional information

Under the conditions of the study of Olaveson, M.M., and C. Nalewajko 2000 and aquatic test № 725810 aluminium sulphate did not cause population growth inhibition on Euglena gracilis be low 602 mg/l (NOEC). The EC50 was 3010 mg/l.
