Additional information

The key study (Migchielsen, 2004) was conducted according to te OECD 201 guideline under conditions of GLP. The study was performed on Selenastrum capricornatum (now classified as Pseudokirchnerella subcapitata) in freshwater over a 72 hour exposure period. The study was conducted as a limit test using a single loading rate of 100 mg/l.

Based upon the growth rate of the algae the 72 hour NOELR was determined to be 100 mg/l.
