First-aid measures

Inhalation: remove the victim from the contamination immediately to fresh air. If breathing is weak, irregular or has stopped, open his airway, loosen his collar and belt and administer artificial respiration. Refer for medical attention.
Skin contact: Remove all contaminated clothing, shoes and socks from the affected areas as quickly as possible, cutting them if necessary. Wash the affected areas under running water using a mild soap. Refer for medical attention.
Eye contact: Gently rinse the affected eyes, including under the eyelids with clean water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses as quickly as possible. Remove all chemical from contact with the victim's eyes as quickly as possible. A delay of only seconds may increase the injury. Refer for medical attention.
Ingestion: Wash out with water. Induce vomiting by giving plenty of water. Refer for medical attention. Do not induce vomiting if the victim is unconscious.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media: dry chemical powder, foam or carbon dioxide or water.
Specific hazard with regard to fire-fighting measures: toxic gases (SOx) will form upon combustion.
Specific method: If possible, move container from fire
Protection of firefighters: Wear protective clothing, safety goggles and self-contained breathing apparatus to prevent contact with skin, eyes and respiratory system.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions: Evacuate non-essential personnel
Environmental precautions: Shut off all sources of ignition; no flares, smoking or flames in the area
Methods for cleaning up: Sweep out, then place in a chemical waste container with covers for disposal, using non sparkling tools. Remove leaking containers to a safe place if possible. Notify police and fire brigade.

Handling and storage

Technical measures: use personal protective equipment for avoiding inhalation and contact with skin or eyes. Shut off all sources of ignition.
Safe handling: avoidance of contact with oxidizing agent, acidic agent and basic agent.

Storage: Keep our of direct sunlight. Keep container in a cool, dry place.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Respiratory protection: industrial canister gas mask
Hand protection: chemical resistant gloves
Eye/face protection: safety goggles
Skin and body protection: wear protective clothing
Specific hygiene measures: Avoid contact with skin and eyes and the inhalation of dust. Wash hands at the end of work.

Stability and reactivity

Stability: stable at cool and dry
Conditions to avoid: high temperatures and moisture
Materials to avoid: Oxidizing agents, acidic agents, basic agents
Hazardous decomposition products: Formaldehyde and toxic gases

Disposal considerations

Waste from residue: Burn in a chemical incinerator equipped with a afterburner and scrubber, because of generating toxic gases. Follow all country's specific regulations.

Contaminated packaging: dispose contaminated packaging, after contents are completely removed. Follow all country's specific regulations.
