Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Vapour pressures of 7263 Pa at 20 °C and 9273 Pa at 25 °C were determined.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
7 263 Pa
at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

The vapour pressure of reaction mass of 2,2'-oxybisbutane (DSBE), DIPE, SBA and 2-methylpropan-2-ol (TBA) was determined using the static method according to the OECD 104 resp. EU A.4 guideline under GLP.

Vapour pressures of 7263 Pa at 20 °C and 9273 Pa at 25 °C were determined.

These values were calculated from the regression of 18 individual measurements.

The vapor pressure of the reaction mass is within the range of the vapor pressures of the individual components, 2170 -2970 Pa for DSBE (1), 19900 Pa for DIPE (2), 2440 Pa for SBA (3) and 4100 -5400 Pa for TBA (4) (all values at 25°C).
