Endpoint:
boiling point
Type of information:
migrated information: read-across from supporting substance (structural analogue or surrogate)
Adequacy of study:
key study
Study period:
From July 17 to 27, 2001
Reliability:
2 (reliable with restrictions)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
other: Eucarol AGE SS (D-Glucopyranose, oligomeric, 6-(hydrogen 2-sulfobutanedioate), 1- (coco alkyl) ethers, sodium salts) was used as supporting substance due to the structural analogy. It can be expected a similar structural features.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The test material initial boiling point temperature was 98°C. As the temperature increase, it was observed an initial sample degradation, starting from around 103 °C with evolution of gray vapours and a slow polymerization. The sample degradation was completed at around 160°C with the appearence of a solid dark material inside the boiling reservoir.
