Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Two aquatic toxicity tests have been performed on mixture of the registered substance in water which exhibits an active content of ca. 25.6%. The observed toxicity effects in these tests are expected to be the result of the exposure of aquatic organisms to active content.

Short-term toxicity

One study on short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates is available. The test was performed according to the OECD test guideline 202, concentrations were followed several times during the test and the study reports a 48h-EC50 to Daphnia magna of 0.66mg/L (measured concentration, active ingredient). The algal toxicity was determined in a growth inhibition test with Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata according to OECD test guideline 201and test concentrations were controled several times during the test.

The 72h-EC50 and the 72h-EC10 were determined to 10 and 1.3 mg/L (expressed as active ingredient and based on growth rate, measured concentration), respectively.

The two studies were performed under GLP and are reliable without restrictions (1).

On an acute basis, aquatic invertebrate is the most sensitive trophic level to the registered substance in water.
