The acute fish toxicity study toxicity showed that toxic effects were only observed in the presence of undissolved particles of test substance. No mortality was observed when fish were exposed to filtered suspension of test substance in water. In the acute Daphnia study toxicity was again only observed in the presence of undissolved particles. In the algae inhibition study, neither growth nor biomass were affected by the substance over the 72 -hour exposure period. However, in this study, chemical analysis of test solutions was used to determine time mean measured concentrations of test substance in test medium and an EC50 and NOEC of >0.072 mg/l was determined. As this value is based on actual measurements of the test substance in test water it will be used as the basis to calculate a predicted no effect concentration in the environmental risk assessment.
