Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The study is considered inappropriate because the analytical methods are not sensitive enough to conduct the test. The test item has a reported water solubility of less than 5 mg/L. 5 mg/L is provided as a limit value as a worst case. The water solubility is calculated to be much lower than 5 mg/L. The test item mostly disperses, and the formation of micelles could hinder the dissociation chemistry. Based on a limit of 5 mg/L, this would produce a solution of 7.5 µM. Methods such as titration would require a solution of 0.01M.

The functional groups in the test item are not expected to be withing the UV/visible absorbance range or have a significant change in absorption over the environmental pH range.
