Description of key information
The terrestrial toxicity of zinc lactate can be understood in terms of the terrestrial toxicity of zinc(II) and lactic acid. Lactic acid is not relevant for hazard identification for terrestrial organisms. For zinc, a lowest NOEC of 17 mg/kg is available, corresponding to 63.3 mg/kg zinc lactate.
