According to structural properties, hydrolysis is not expected/probable.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

According to Kollig et al. (1993) and Boethling & Mackay (2000), the structure of the test substance does not contain any functional groups sensitive to hydrolysis. Therefore, no study on hydrolysis is performed with 1-ethylpiperazine (CAS 5308 -25 -8).
