First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove from exposure.  Seek medical attention.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Irrigate thoroughly with water for at least 15 minutes. Seek

medical attention.

Emergency measure - Skin: Wash affected area with water.  Remove contaminated

clothing. If irritation occurs, seek medical attention.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Dry powder, carbon dioxide, foam and water may be used.

Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon,

nitrogen and phosphorus together with hydrogen fluoride.

clothing should be worn.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective clothing, see 2.3.1. Sweep up spill

or use industrial vacuum fitted with suitable dust

filtration system. Transfer to suitably labelled containers

for disposal.

Handling and storage

Handling: Observe the usual precautions for handling organic

chemicals.  PVC Gloves  (CE94, area of protection code

P713), an air hood (Plysu product code:  FAA000014001100)

and disposable overalls (Model:  Classic; CE95 0120: Type 5

protection) should be worn.

Storage: Store in a tightly sealed polythene-lined UN approved

fibreboard kegs in a cool, dry, dark area.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: 10 kg, 25 kg and 50 kg polythene-lined UN approved

fibreboard kegs.
