Classification, Labelling, and Packaging Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008

The available experimental test data are reliable and suitable for classification purposes under Regulation 1272/2008. The substance is considered to be not readily biodegradable. The most sensitive aquatic species was the algae (P. subcapitata). The ErC50 (72 h) was 0.0993 mg/L, the ErC10 = 0.0758 mg/L (geom. mean measured). The log Pow was determined to be 2.7. Based on these results, the test item is classified for aquatic short-term (acute) toxicity, Category 1 (H400, Very toxic to aquatic life; M = 1) and for aquatic long-term (chronic) toxicity Category 1 (H410, very toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects; M = 1) according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP), as amended for the seventeenth time in Regulation (EU) 2021/849.
