Administrative data

First-aid measures

After contact with skin:

- Take off all contaminated clothing immediately.

- In case of contact with skin wash off immediately with plenty of water.

- Do NOT use solvents or thinners.

- If skin problems persist, seek medical advice.

After contact with eyes:

- In case of eye contact, remove contact lens and rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes.

- Summon a doctor immediately.

- Eye treatment by an ophthamologist.

After ingestion:

- Rinse out mouth and give plenty of water to drink.

- Do NOT induce vomiting.

- Summon a doctor immediately.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: water mist, foam, dry powder, carbon dioxide.

Advice for firefighters - Special protective equipment for firefighing:

- Use self-contained breathing apparatus

- Wear full protective suit.

- In case of fire, use acid-resistant equipment / personal protective equipment.

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:

- In case of fires, hazardous combustion gases are formed: Carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2), phosphorus oxides (eg Phosphorus pentoxide)

- Avoid contact with skin and eyes.

- Wear suitable personal protective equipment.

Environmental precautions:

- Do not allow entry to drains, water courses or soil.

- Pick up with adsorbent material (eg sand, kieselgur, acid binder, universal binder, sawdust).

- Dispose of contaminated material as prescribed.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Hand protection:
